Force Operation X, or as it's more commonly known, FOX Unit, was established in the early 1960s by the CIA for covert missions during the height of the Cold War. The most famous operative of the unit was Naked Snake, the protagonist of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, who would later go on to become the founder of FOXHOUND known as Big Boss.
