Console size is relatively small for a new generation which is good. It is also aesthetically pleasing with a cool LED indicator running the full length of the console. It also runs extremely quietly. The Dualshock 4 fits much more comfortably in the hand with respect to the previous iteration, although I have yet to play a game which utilises the touch pad features. A good selection of free games are downloadable right away. War Thunder being the stand out title for me, as well as Blacklight Retribution. The graphics are a definite improvement over the previous generation of consoles, but not the leap we have seen previously. It's hard to describe, but in some ways it's a subtle improvement. Full 1080p now, but not photorealistic, however the general effect is a more believable game world, which I admit sounds like a bit of a contradiction. I've played Battlefield 4 on both PS3 and PS4 and I will definitely be playing on the latter from now on. Also multiplayer can now accommodate twice the number of participants in BF4. The only downside is that there are no real must-have titles yet for PS4. At this present moment in time I'm still playing mainly on my PS3 and working through the backlog of many excellent titles I've acquired via Playstation Plus. Overall I'm pleased with my purchase, but there is still life in the old dog yet! It's just a question of for how much longer.

The ps4 is a must have console! It's brilliant. I have upgraded from ps3 and the new features are great. Ps plus Is also a great thing to have with it too. delivery was only 2 days which was also great!

I'm a keen gamer when time allows anyway, having had home computers since the 80's and nearly every console since the Sega Megadrive. I'v been avidly reading every update available about the next gen since the first reveals in Feb 2013. For many reasons i decided that the PS4 was the games machine for me, i'v not been disapointed it's fantastic!! It just works.. Every feature which are current works so well and on reflection what a brilliant price, compared to a good gaming pc. I must admit i'm suprised by the quality and capability of the PS Camera, the children have loved playroom + the free add on's and the visual log in and voice recognition are great. There's no gimmicks with this machine the games look stunning in native 1080p unlike other upscaled competators and the enviroments look solid and sharp. Not to mention the share function which is effective quick and easy, the social features and remote play is stunning. In addition to this Zavvi shipped two days earlier than i thought and on a Sunday and the service was brilliant... Highly recommend you get a PS4 through Zavvi.

The Consle works fine, its user friendly, was no trouble transfaring my PS3 User account over to my New PS4, Graphicly its amazing, Killzone Shadow Fall looked stunning running at full 1080p. While its to early to till, I'm please I went with the PS4 instead.
