For the new generation of gamers this game is unknown. But for those that grew up step by step with videogames this is a must have. There are so many titles that made my life so mutch better in the old days. Everytime i'm playing i just get that warm feeling of something really good that i thought i have lost. But no, here it is again. This game reminds me again of what video games are all about and there for it cannot have less than a five star rating. And what if you're a young gamer that knows nothing about a Sega Mega Drive? Well then, enjoy what gaming was in the beginning, compare, it will help you know and understand the games you play today. And for all of the trophy hunters out there, do you want another platinum? Easy as pie, get this game and you'll be getting it before you know it. With a lot of fun on the way.

40 games for a pricetag of one? Unlockable interviews and ekstra arcade games? The whole Phantasy Star series? All the best Sonic games? Shining Force 1&2, the streets of rage series, ect. With so many nostalgic gaming hours on one disc, I can forgive the lack of S3&K lock on and some titles like Toe Jam & Earl. Assuming you'd like to play genesis titles on your HD system, this is a must play compilation.

So many games, so little time! To be fair you can complete them all in a relatively short amount of time... but it is no picnic!! Some real classics here, and the Sonic games are still absolute gold... Could have done without bonanza brothers (yawn) but this is one awesome collection!!
