I hadnt seen this for years and decided to buy it on a whim as it was as cheap as renting. This is a superb movie and Denzel Washington is as good in this film as any other he stars in. I havent read the book and can only imagine that it's excellent as they are usually better than the film. As murder mysteries go this is as good as they get. A really top quality movie and worthy of 5 stars.
