We are all massive potter fans in my house and read the books the minute they are published. The early books and films were quite imature but non the less really enjoyable. When I read this book i was really excited about seeing how they would transfer some of the amazing battles from Jk's wizzardry to the big screen. I was also interested to see what parts they would leave out, as the book is so big the movie would need to be 8 hours long ! The film is a hit they did an excellent job, yes it helped i read the book and could fill in the gaps, the special effects are brilliant. The big battle scene at the end is not as big as the book, but still one of my favorite of ALL movies, its fantastic, they did a great job with the parts they chose. Well worth watching and watching and watching !
