This set is such great value, a fantastic remake of a TV classic that is a joy to watch. The blu ray of this series is far superior to the dvd set and is well worth buying, the picture is of the highest quality and the sound is very much improved, when watching this I noticed little things that I never saw before which made it a much better watch in my opinion, the colour of explosions along with the special effects are just beautiful to look at, would highly recommend this series and set on blu ray A+++++

This Bluray collection is full of 'grain' and sound is very poor, lighting is very harsh. Especially on 4K TV's where the grain is huge, its like watching it on a newspaper. Its more a downgrade from the DVD if anything. Totally recommend you buy the dvd collection instead. Avoid, read Google reviews, you have been warned.

Battlestar Galactica is an awesome TV show. The story is engaging and addictive. The visuals are great even by today standards.

Super fast service, well packaged for post and an awesome price.... Now I'm looking multiple times each week just in case some else's want pops up.

This is one of the best sci-fi series ever and an awesome reboot. Slightly weaker in the later series , but you should still not be disappointed.

The quality of Battlestar Galactica - The Complete Series cannot be overstated. The packaging of the Blu-Rays is really good quality, and the order arrived quicker than I expected which was great. The TV series itself is stunning, I'd definitely recommend the Blu-ray it looks and sounds fantastic, and shows off the series' as they were meant to be seen. The storyline of the series is fantastic, I'd definitely put it up there with the likes of Game of Thrones as one of the best TV series ever made. All my friends judged the series as being too geeky before they had ever seen it, and now that they've seen it they also agree that it is not geeky at all, it is just totally epic. If you're not sure about buying it, just do it, you really won't regret it. And I'd recommend Zavvi as the place to buy it from, as it was cheaper than anywhere else I could find, and the service and free delivery went down nicely!

Battlestar Galactica on Blu Ray is a revision! It is an absolute masterpiece of action, drama, suspense, and science fiction. I was so taken by the first episode that I couldnt stop watching it, every day I came in from work and I would put on the next episode, each one getting more gripping! The storyline was incredibly intriguing, and had a twist ending that I couldnt have guessed in 100 years. In the end I watched all 73 episodes in two weeks; I cancelled my weekend plans and just watched this and nothing else. Since first seeing this a couple of years have passed, and I only recently managed to get the entire series on Blu-ray from Zavvi. So I am now happily working my way through this visual feast once again, seeing things that I didnt notice the first time around, but this time in High Definition. All the cast and crew (including a few cameo appearances from the original Captain Apollo, Richard Hatch) were well chosen and all complemented each other. Katee Sackhoffs performance as Starbuck was one that stood out for me, for she took a character that had a great deal of history and made it her own. I would highly recommend buying this series to anyone as you will want to watch it again and again.

A brilliant Blu Ray collection. Hours of high quality and high definition entertainment. This is not just a Sci Fi series, it will appeal to those who love drama, which there is a bucket load generously wrapped around action and Sci Fi elements. Having originally purchased the individual box sets on DVD I was at two minds to buy again on Blu Ray but after seeing some brilliant scenes in High Definition on a 50" screen I immediately changed my mind. One thing I will note is the sound for dialogue is quite quiet in places and can be drowned out by all the actions sounds going on, changing my sound settings helped but sometimes I need to grab the remote to turn down the volume due to extremely loud explosions and other sounds that will shatter your ear drums. A great purchase for any Battle Star Galactica fan and for people who want to watch something gritty mixed with drama and Sci Fi.

totally love the TV show and would recommend this to anyone who love sci-fi tv shows

Firstly I was amazed with the amount of money I saved on this Blu-ray box set of one of my all time favourite series. The extras included all the non aired extended versions of several of the episodes which was a delightful surprise. The only criticism I have is that the Blu-ray's themselves don't seem to be of the highest quality as there were 2 episodes on 2 separate discs that were unwatchable due to almost 30 minutes of macroblocking showing on the screen during 2 of the episodes. A real shame.
