The Series is fantastic. And the box set is quite nice. The only thing that lets it down is that the picture quality in some scenes is quite poor. I had seen reviews elsewhere that complained of a grainy picture but figured they were probably being too picky. As I am not a total audio/videophile I didn't think I would notice, but unfortunately it is pretty bad in some scenes. The thing that makes it worse is that you sit through an intro from the creator where he goes on about how it was shot in HD and now you get to see it as it was meant to be seen, so you are expecting crystal clear flawless impressive images, and really it looks like it did on my crummy TV 10 years ago. Don't get me wrong, it is not unwatchable at all, nor is it universally bad. But it does seem odd that some scenes can look noticeably worse than others. But the series more than makes up for this. It is truly fantastic. An epic space opera with great characters and a nice mature theme. Another downside to the box set are that a couple of the movies are missing so it somehow doesn't feel as 'complete' as it should. Razor is here though, so why not include the others. I have seen other reviews that say that Razor is not included, but it is, at least in this version it is. Great prices and service from Zavvi as always. I picked this up while it was 29.99 and I used one of the codes I regularly receive from Zavvi for a further 10% off. Great company.

What a fantastic series, must have for serious sci-fi fans. The quality of the BluRays is great - you won't be disappointed!

I love Battlestar Galactica, so of cause i had to buy the complete series! I bought it on bluray to get the optimal picture quality, and it does not disappoint at all! I hope there will be new Battlestar Galactica related series in the future!

First of all I got this box very fast, thanks for that, although I live in Belgium. Secondly the series are great and let's be honest for this current price there is no reason to doubt to buy a serie of that quality and that contence. The pictures are great. Although one small point, I found this out years ago, Startbuck in the old series was a man :)

I always intended to finally watch this in its entirety. Half way through and i can confidently say this is a fantastic boxset. Sci-fi with a gritty slant and more believable evolving characters than the original and without the annoying schmaltz. Enjoyed 70's show as a kid, loving this as an adult. Box and disc holders well presented. Picture quality is great on my hd truck tv. They actually had to add some grain in places as explained on first special features of which their are plenty to keep geeks like me occupied.

Love the show! One of the best science fiction show out there, along with SG-1!

The packaging for Battlestar Galactica - The Complete Series on Blu-Ray is not very good. You have to open the box to find out you don't get Razor and the plan, so why do they call it Battlestar Galactica - The Complete Series? The picture and sound quality is awesome, with lots of Blu-ray exclusive bonuses and extended scenes. They also brought out a spin off called Blood and Chrome which is a prequel that takes place during the First Cylon War and features an origin story for BSGs Admiral William Adama. The bad thing about this was that it was released as an online series!
