Got this one as a second copy for my brother and I was surprised to see that Battlefield 3's pressence hasn't impacted server population in BC2. You can find a match in under a minute whatever you preferred gamemode is and it's still a hell of a fun game, especially when playing with friends in a coordinated squad. Even though it's a three year old game, graphics hold up pretty well. Why 4 and not 5 stars? Well, the game never actually got any post-launch support except for a paid-for Vietnam DLC so it means there aren't many maps to play on. There are also some unbalanced parts of the maps where one team gets an advantage which can lead to prolonged and tedious matches. Still, it's fun multiplayer experience even if you're not a big fan of modern military shooters. Bad company 2 manages to properly balance the amount of grind for rewards and new gear and, with it's solid single player campaign, it's pretty decent and cheap package. Don't miss!
A great game, with great value! Bad Company 2 is a FPS shooter with some "simulation" mixed in. It is not the "brain killing" FPS shooter that your probably used to, it actually requires to use your brain and win using war tactics! The best game you can buy with your money!
Great game !!! Frostbite engine is the best feature in games ever !!! Destroyable enviroment is so great feature. Maps are decent not as good as in BF2 but still very good. Online playing is the best available so far beats Call of duty's with a mile.
Best FPS that I ever played.Destruction engine leaves me without a breath every time I play this game......Small but interesting Single player campaign....You'll again expirience WWII and next moment the story will take you to the modern warfare setting....Feel jungle, snow blizzard, desert wind....Then there's the multiplayer.....wooow....If you got excited during the campaign when you try multiplayer you'll realise that you haven't expirienced anything like it......Assault ,recon ,engineer,medic....For every taste a different flavor and different expirience...Best buy that I ever made....
In my opinion this is the best First Person Shooter made to-day. I've played this game for hours and hours, and it doesn't get repetitive. I'm still playing it now. And you know what? I have played Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 before this game, and I don't lie when I say, Battlefield Bad Company 2 is far better than Call of Duty MW2. All my friends agree.
It's a very good game, personally I prefer call of duty but no doubt that it is a good game.
The announcement of a new Battlefield game made most of the hardcore fans gasp, since the first game wasn't such a blockbuster and its multiplayer wasn't as good as expected. Now that we've gotten our hands dirty with the Battlefield, I couldn't be more pleased. Weapon upgrades, James Bondish gadgets and good rewards make this game a blast online. Even though the game was meant for online gaming, its single player amazed me aswell. We've heard a lot of bs from different reviewers but its entertainment value is high. The single player story takes place in Japan, where US soldiers are trying to figure out what goes on in their heads. If one had to give this game a rating with stars from 1 to 5, I'd say it would get atleast 4. The only bad thing that I can come up with is that the server browser still sucks, just like it did in Battlefield 2. You'd thought that they would eventually learn from their mistakes. If you are fan of the Battlefield-series, I highly recommend buying this game. It's a lot of fun and the frozenbyte engine makes the environment a lot more enjoyable.
