With an all star cast you can't fault this epic 1974 disaster movie. Based on two great novels, this was brought to the big screen and showed off some state of the art pyrotechnics for its day. I have seen this countless times and still entertains over 30 years later. Some of the old films are just as great if not greater than modern ones. A must see 10/10

Fire rules in this 1974 epic disaster movie. Based on two great novels 'The Tower' and 'the Glass Inferno' Irwin Allen brings this masterpiece to life. Star studied cast has you gripped with excitement from start to finish. This movie is nearly as old as me but I must say it has never failed to satisfy from the first time I saw it many years ago. The pyrotechnics were might awesome for the year it was filmed, along with some most memorable acting from the likes of Steve McQueen, Paul Newman & Faye Dunaway. An all round great movie to watch, with a big thumbs up for those of you who like classic movies. 10/10
