The Green Mile is a gripping movie.

The Green Mile is speculative fiction behind bars. It's like Shawshank with some fantastic happenings and so much more. It's a moving and mesmerising story that has great performances, a thick mood and some of the fastest and most fulfilling 3 hours you'll ever spend.

The Green Mile is an excellent movie with Tom Hanks at his best. It's a great film in Blu-ray. It's such an interesting film that you don't notice it's three hours long. It's well worth having in your Blu-ray collection.

How do you make 3 hours seem like 30 minutes ? Watch a Frank Darabont movie. Who I hear you say, well he directored another prison movie you may of heard of called " The Shawshank Redemption" What a pair of films to have on your cv. The story is full on and tells the tale of prison officers and prisoners on death row. There are no massive scenes of action in the film where the blu ray would shine, but it certainly does improve the picture and sound quality.
