I read loads of reviews before buying this game and all mixed, as the jury was out i rented it first. I enjoy playing Avatar, the graphics are special creating incredable jungle landscapes. The game its self can be played from either side and you can choose between being an RDA or a Na'vi. There are loads of different activities from driving vehicles & boats to riding animals. The game play is really good and the controls are easy to pick up, the responces ok not the best ive played with but by no means the worst. The game is long and completing it with both players extends it further so it will keep you busy for a while. As a movie tie in I think its good. As with all games it isnt perfect but it IS good fun. Did I buy it after renting ? ...........Yes I did, give it a ago !
This game has unbelievable graphics, and you also get the option to either aid the humans by shooting the avatar at the beginning or defend him, it's nice to be able to have that option to choose. It gives you a whole different perspective from both sides of the storyline, which means after you've completed the game on one side you can then switch and do the other, it offers all the information about the different creatures, throughout the film as well as the game, and it also gives you another look at what life on another planet would be like, which is such an amazing thing, this game is one of the greatest of our age, and is suitable for all ages to play, except under 16s because of the difficulty level, and if you have a 3D TV you also have the option in the game menu to change the settings and play the game in 3D, it is well worth any price just to play this game!
I absolutely love avatar, and I love how this game gives you a personal touch to Pandora, the game is HIGHLY under rated, if you have a 3D ready tv, just pop on your specks to enhance the picture once more. I recommend the PS3 version because the PC version is a little slow. I love the move, and I love the game, too bad the collectors edition costs too much. Great game though, love it!
