The PS3 Slim is simply put, THE essential home entertainment console. Having had an xbox, this is a breath of fresh air. I can copy films and music to the massive hard drive with ease unlike the xbox. Bluray movies look outstanding too and while I may not buy many blurays, it's nice to have the option. The unit itself is quiet and is very unassuming, in it's blacked out colourway. Very cool and stylish and quite dinky compared to the first generation PS3. I actually prefer the actual buttons rather than the touch sensitive buttons on it's predecessor. All in all, a great buy at the market's lowest price - £250 for a 250gb ps3 slim, that's like £1 a gig! great! Recommended for ps3 newbies, but maybe not for existing ps3 owners.
