its a present really pleased its not to big as it is the slim line box set

Truly a fantastic effort to produce some intelligent television. I don't know if Edward R. Murrow would be happy but at least you could have a good solid discussion with him about it after viewing this series Solid all the way even with the let up for action sequences and those drama moments obligatory in modern entertainment so its both fluffy and iron fist together. Martin Sheen deserves a noble prize for his performance what a turn around from a role like Captain Benjamin Willard in Apocalypse now, a raggedy grocery clerk with a conscience to a formidable man with a mind to match. All the performances are great from the ensemble. What really shines is the script by Aaron Sorkin but even when he bows out in series 5 the juggernaut keeps on rolling and interesting plot lines and power house players like Jimmy Smit and Alan Alda step up to bat. Gets you thinking.

This has got to be the best series of the last ten years, without exception! The writing is witty, intelligent, well thought out and perfectly timed. The characters are personable and the storylines will keep you hooked. The only bad thing about this programme? They only did seven series!

I recently purchased this boxest and I have to say I'm hooked. West Wings is so captivating. It manages to do what so few programmes achieve by combining serious issues, addictive storylines while still containing subtle humor.I highly recommend it to anyone.
