At first I was put off watching this film due to the fact that it was based closely on a Roald Dahl book and I thought it would be aimed at young children above anyone else. I gave it some thought and decided that Wes Anderson (the Director) could have made it watchable for the older generation. I have to say now, I'm so glad that I finally gave it the chance it deserves. The animation style used is personally by far one of the best there is, stop animation. The time it must have taken to capture each expression on the characters face is just unthinkable but definitely paid off big time. It also has an outstanding cast including: George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Bill Murray, William Dafoe and Owen Wilson. This to me is by far one of the greatest animated films since The Nightmare Before Christmas and I believe it to be entertaining for people in any walk of life and of any age.

A welcome adaptation of the Roald Dahl classic., this film is a fast paced and full of laughter. Mr Fox is a smooth, stylish and slick character mixed with the deliberate sketchy annimation resulting in my perfect cup of tea. I highly recommend this film and encourage you to own the FANTASTIC Mr Fox.
