Im not a horror film or zombie film fan in the slightest.....or so I thought. Ive seen a couple of horror films ive liked and now this !....whats happening too me lol. We watched this at the cinema and this was one of the funniest films we watched in 2009. Hilarious, jaw aching, tummy splitting entertainment. I watched Shaun of the dead and thought that was funny but this is equally as good if not better. Woody Harrelson & Emma stone were superb as were the rest of the cast. The gorey world of the living dead was crazy and fun fun fun all the way.

Best zombie movie in a looong time

This flick is great. It's not easy to find a good zombie movie nowdays and most of them look the same. This one is a fresh add. The story is nothing special, but characters and dialogues are great and fun. Highly recommended.

No brainer

Zombieland was a disappointment for me. This is not a film to be taken too seriously, in fact it's recommended you put all intelligent thought on hold while watching this film. It has an interesting cast, the fantastic Woody Harrelson (though not fantastic in this) and Jesse Eisenberg taking the lead roles. It's essentially about the struggle of a group of people post "zombie apocalypse" with Harrelson's character being a "creative" zombie killer, Eisenbergs character being a college student trying to get home; the pair then meeting up with two sisters struggling to survive apocalypse. Together they take a road trip and bump into Bill Murray disguised as a zombie along the way. Simple as that. The film has a lot of funny moments, provided primarily by Eisenberg, mixed with some zombie killing fun. Unfortunately after watching the film I was left with a sense that nothing really happened in the film, I felt it didn't really go anywhere. This is still worth checking out though perhaps not if you're expecting classic zombie action along the lines of Dawn of the Dead. More for Shaun of the Dead fans perhaps.
