Crysis 2 is a great game that I'd wholeheartedly recommend.

Crysis 2 is amazing. You must play it... A lot of action and a lot of fun!

Crysis 2 is epic. It's a stunning game through and through, that showcases some very well-engineered environments, a properly formed plot, an awesome soundtrack and of course, the brilliance of CryEngine 3. I haven't played the original, as I'm having a hard time getting hold of it on PS3, but the sequel I've read, and found, is a worthy successor to it. The initial intro movie and main theme song really set you up for the general tone of the game. It's intense, ominous, and shockingly real. Set in a devastated New York city, the game pits you as a marine code named 'Alcatraz'. After an alien attack leaves you battered and bruised, you inherit the Nanosuit 2 from fellow soldier Prophet (featured in the original game). Armed with the suit's stealth, armor and power modes you now become responsible for repelling the alien threat and getting to the truth of what's going on around you. Crysis 2 does a lot for its series and genre but naggling AI issues are a let down. Also would have liked to see more use of the CryEngine 3 in terms of destruction. I preferred the Havok GeoMod 2 engine used in Red Faction: Armageddon and how it was used to full potential. It's a definite must-have for any FPS collector.

I've played Crysis 2 for a couple of hours so far, and seeing as I've not played the first Crysis game, without an introduction to what's happened, the story doesn't really make much sense at the moment. So, if you haven't played the first one, maybe you should read what happened online first - that's what I'm going to do!

Crysis 2 is a great game, the graphics are superb. Maybe the first half of the game is not quite good, but the second half of the game is really excellent. This game is really fun, you will feel that you're a real super soldier.

Crysis 2 is a total slam of a game. The graphics are out of this world, and the gameplay itself is very good. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Crysis 2 is a great game, and very happy with the delivery.

I did not play Crysis 1, but when I bought and inserted Crysis 2 into my PS3, from the very beginning of the game I was certain I was in for an incredible experience. Brilliantly animated New York streets, strategic game play, and varied weapons are some elements that make this game a great one. Furthermore, there is always a different strategy to utilise with the game play and action. Also, the skill update system helps to keep your attention on the next levels, giving you incentive. Still, the game suffers from 2 elements: AI and the low level of pace at the beginning of the game due to putting together the pieces of the first game... But after that, a well balanced and a tactical first person shooter is waiting you.

Crysis 2 for me is the best game of last year!
