Steelbook version of bluray that I already own. I enjoy steelbooks and decided to expand my collection beyond brand new film releases. The Avatar Blu-ray is exactly the same as the previous one. I love the film and enjoyed the bonus content. The blu-ray arrived promptly in relatively good condition. There was a lack of protective packaging and what appear to be small chips in the stunning artwork revealing the metal base of the case, possibly a defect from manufacture. It's not pristine as I would expect all new items to be but nether the less a nice purchase.

As it has been mentioned already earlier, this edition is not the best choice for a steelbook collector. These are the aguments against this steelbook: - ratings logos are printed on the steelbook front cover and spine (instead of stickers). - printed Blu-ray banner at the front of the case - just not beautiful. - all the Blu-ray details are printed on the back of the case (instead of removable J-card. Nevertheless thanks to Zavvi for the delivery, service and good packaging.

Avatar - Limited Edition Steelbook could have and should have been better. There is no embossing/debossing. The ratings logos are printed on the steelbook front cover and spine, the front of the case has a printed Blu-ray banner, and the back of the case has all the Blu-ray details printed on the case. A removable J-card would have been better, and the ratings logos should have been stickers that are also removable. The only good thing about this release is the low price. Zavvi has better steelbooks to spend your money on.

My first order with Zavvi.com was Avatar. From the day of order to the day of delivery it only took 7 days! As for the movie, this is the best visual movie experience in a decade, hands down!

Even if you have seen it in 3D cinemas you should watch this in your BR Player. It's fascinating again and again!
