Great game, had lots of fun playing on co-op, definitely worth playing with a few mates. Gameplays not too difficult either (at least until you get to Nordinbad that is). All in all war in the north is a very fun game.
On the 360 War in the north is truly fantastic. The plotline is taken from one of the more interesting parts of the side stories from lord of the rings and you learn a fair bit about Middle Earth that you wouldn't have known, just from playing the game. Gets you to take on one of Sauron's henchmen in the north, and it is definitely a quality game. Co-op is a highlight, so definitely make sure you try that out.
I loved war in the north, its a really good game, has the right feeling to it, gameplay is quick and dynamic which means it tests your skills and there are lots of appearances from all your favourite Lord of the Rings characters. Gives you exactly what you want from it.
Lord of the Rings: War in the North is well worth £15 of any gamers money. I have had hours of fun playing this game.
I bought Lord of the Rings: War in the North as a fan of Lord of the Rings, and I haven't been disappointed. It is a good game with a rich story and good characters. The co-op experience can be a little glitchy on split screen but nothing you can't live with. I recommend this game to anyone that enjoys RPG games and to anyone that enjoys co-op games.
Lord of the Rings: War in the North is a good game in it's own right. However this game is most enjoyable when you play three player co-op with friends online. The nice cinematic cut scenes help hold the storyline together, and the graphics and audio are well up to par for modern day Xbox games.
I recently bought War of the North as I have always been a fan not only of the Lord Of The Rings games but of Snowblind. I thought the graphics of the game were fantastic and the storyline engaging. The controls were easy to get to grips with and they were not made complicated for executing the skill moves you could unlock. However I found the saving of the game was crazy. Playing a 2 player game a friend and myself started at the same time we found that at first it was saving both our characters however after a few times playing it would only save one characters progression. Saving issues aside I thought the game was well thought out.
Not a bad game at all. Lots of gore and fun, graphics not that good.
