Born in the early nineties, its these batman and superman cartoons that i grew up with, and finding this collection was practically a godsend. Containing both one of the greatest and most highly underrated Batman film ever made(Mask Of The Phantasm) as well as a number of more recent DC Animated feature lengths that i havent seen previously as well as, disappointingly not the entire animated series, but the best of the series nonetheless. This collection trumps any other boxset i have purchased, drawing up a perfect balance between nineties nostalgia and modern comic book adaptations featuring the super heroes i have grown up knowing and loving. At such a low price too this is by far the best value for money purchase i have found in recent memory ***** Happy Birthday DC

I bought this set thinking that it contained all of the Batman animated adventures. It doesn't. The four discs of the Batman series are selected episodes and, on reflection, it would have taken far more than these four discs to cover the entire series. However the good news is that the rest of the set came up to my expectations and I am looking forward to watching them all in the course of time. There are plenty of extras on the discs for comic book fans like myself to enjoy and the features (those I've had time to watch) are all excellent. Pity about the rest of the Batman series though.
