This game is a re-imagining of title from the 1990s, but made much more accessible and streamlined for today's audience. It represents combat so well- you'll spend many turns advancing slowly from cover to cover, looking for the enemy, but when you find them it's a mad panic to try to flank and take them down. The enemies constantly evolve and become stronger, but fortunately you too can research and advance and develop fantastic new weapons and gear to help combat the alien menace. Absolutely 100% recommend to anybody who wants to put their thinking hat on and save the world; don't be fooled by the "turn based" genre, it's a white-knuckled ride that will leave you with countless war stories to share.
