I wanted to buy band of brothers for my dad because he has wanted to see it for ages. I have watched all of it before and love it! Zavvi's price is fantastic, especially for blu-ray. Really happy with this purchase!

The directing and acting in this speaks for itself and can't say anything that hasn't been said before. As for technical quality, the image and sound are great. So turn down the lights, turn up the sound and get ready to apologise to your neighbours.

Band of Brother is a great series. This Blu-ray tin features great video and audio quality.

Band Of Brothers is excellent value for money, and remains to be one of the best war stories around, and it makes for even better viewing in blu-ray. Once you start to watch this, you will not want to switch it off. The scenery takes you right to the front line! The story lines are authentic and captivating - well worth a watch, and perfect to watch with your partner! It's a bit gory for the children though!

Band of Brothers is one of the best TV War programmes, and the Blu-ray gives it a bit of extra grit, great price at the moment.

Simply put this is the best war mini series you are ever likely to see which has been directed by Steven Speilberg and Tom Hanks. Based on the true life events of "Easy Company" it follows the regiment through their lows and highs during the war with stunning visuals and superb sound. If like me you have a speaker system you'll be interested to know that the blu ray also has a DTS Master Audio encode which is stunning.

Band of Brothers was an excellent series, it sucks you in straight away. The characters chemistry is brilliant, the effects are some of the best I've seen on a TV series aswell. The Blu-ray quality is definately worth the extra money.

This set is a must for all those who like good cuts, excellent scenes and of course some action too. Saving private Ryan was only the prologue for this miniseries... Easy Company provide us all the goodies for an exciting, varied and insider show.

If you want to see a superbly written and amazing to watch TV series this is the one to buy. Although there may be a very few better TV series around (The Wire for one) none come even close to Band Of Brothers for the sheer spectacle and visual quality of the series on blu-ray - this is what the format was made for. This is a must have and a bargain at this price.

The reason I rated this blu ray a 5 star because I love war films and it's a true story I'm only half way into it and I love it I really like the tin it's so detailed inside the disc compartment is really detailed I have a similar one to this one it's the Pacific I just love war films.
