Silence of the Lambs (the reason people would buy this Hannibal Lecter Trilogy) has one of the best blu ray transfers I have ever seen, could've been filmed yesterday yet it is over 20 years old! The other two films are good quality BDs, yet are just added bonuses in the shadow of Silence of the lambs.

Hannibal Lecter Trilogy is an excellent set for the price. Worth it just for Silence of the Lambs.

The Hannibal Lector trilogy has made a great transfer to Blu-Ray. Awesome films.

Many actors are destined for one delicious role in there life. Nay, remembered and pigeon-holed whether they like it or no. Take Alec Guinness for instance. A prolific film star but (unjustly) remembered for his Obi-Wan which rankled him for the remainder of his days. Mr Hopkins has made this his own, forgetting the first outing of Lecter in 'Manhunter', and that eery scene when Agent Starling comes face to face with the monster will stay long in the mind. Gory, well filmed and a generous support casts adds to the enjoyment (?). Ugh. A delight.

Personally I’m not a big fan of Hannibal, but for this price I need to have these movies in my Bluray collection and for those real fans - This is a “must have” bluray boxset. Also I like the nice compact packaging, not like the bulky one for other boxsets.
