Borderlands is a truly unique game, it offers such an amazing experience. Borderlands has a unique art style that, dynamic gameplay and and selection of classes that offer a completely different (better) gameplay experience. While playing Borderlands I have never felt a moment of boredom as it offers a challenging, rewarding gameplay experience it has entertained me for weeks and remains one of my all-time favourite games.

Amazing coop game with some refreshing elements of RPG genre. Brings a joy of coop playing to a new level with huge amount of quests and big map. Truely entertaining game.

The game is filled with both serious and funny moments.It has the feeling of an MMORPG,where you level up,move up to the next area,get new items.And there are tons of levels and items.The expansions also add a lot of variety and stretch the game out even more.You can;'t get bored with this game.

You better play this game with your buddies,cause that is the best way to experience this fun game.And the expansions are also worth it,cause they add hours of humorous content.

An excellent game, suitable for any type of gamer, especially with the expansions. I love the pitch black humour throughout and the range of guns you can acquire is amazing... definitely beating all of the other games in that genre. Deserved every inch of that game of the year award!

I thoroughly enjoyed this game, it is very rare that you encounter a game with a perfect mix of pitch black humour, copious amounts of gore, an engaging story and generally great gameplay! Although some people think the graphics of this game are too "cartoony" I think they give the game a unique spin that separates them from games such as Call of Duty or the Fallout series. I love the range of weaponry you can acquire throughout the game, it is outstanding and definitely topped every game of its genre when it was released. The expansions on the whole were a very good addition to an already great game. The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned had to be my favourite of them; bringing zombies into that type of game was a risk... one that paid off! It brought more brilliantly dark humour to an even darker situation and added several types of hideous zombies to the battlefield, thus making it an amazing expansion. As for Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot... Well that was another story, its lack of variety in enemies, over the top amount of rounds/waves was unbearable and all for what, a few measly achievements? Not worth the energy and stress. What I say is; don't try to perfect perfection. General Knoxx's Secret Armoury was a good but not spectacular addition to the series of add-ons. Its lack of real story was quite disappointing, but the ridiculous amount of guns you can discover through the game and in the armoury makes up for the poor storyline. I also enjoyed the new types of lance soldiers and aliens inhabiting the land. Despite some faults it was another good addition. I cannot stress enough how superb this game is, it deserved every inch of that game of the year award.
