The first game in the series "Blazblue Calamity Trigger" grabbed my interest immediately, but after a substantial different between the US and the EU launch my interest faded. Some time after its launch I did pick up Blazblue and it was one of the best purchases i made this year, the game is fresh and original with a simplistic fighting system that is easy to learn hard to master. With that anime style that many love and many despise the game is very hit and miss, but those who miss, miss a lot. This is the second in what will surely be a long series of games and I believe a third arcade game is about to be unveiled. With zavvi's pre order price being around £15 cheaper than the next closest price (and its special edition too!) you owe it to yourself to pick this game up, take a step away from the typical and usual and take a chance. You wont be sorry you did.
