prefer infamous

If you played infamous and really liked it - like I did - you might - just like me - want to enjoy even more of the open world super powered fun. In this case, and even if you think "prototype sound like infamous, must be like infamous", do one of the following: replay infamous on a higher difficulty level, replay infamous and play evil instead of good or vice versa. Do not - however - purchase prototype. Because unlike infamous it might be bigger, but the gameplay is extremely boring and repetitive, basically all missions are the same (defend x, destroy x), all side missions are the same (kill x number of y with weapon z) and the game mechanics flying/fighting/special attacks are extremely unbalanced. Even the level design (which is a bad copy of NYC) looks bland, especially in later levels. Please: replay infamous. it is a great game. Prototype is not.

Seems like an unfinished game...

I've been waiting to play this game for quite a long time. It came out at the same time that InFamous and I couldn't buy both. I got it now that it is platinum and it was a complete dissappointment. I really think that this needed more polishing and, above all, more development time. It has a good idea but in the end it seems like they didn't know how to make it work. Anyway, I enjoyed all the powers that Alex has, which are more than the powers that Cole (InFamous) has. However, if you are looking to buy a game like this and you don't have InFamous already, I highly recommend you to buy it instead of this one.
