First saw it on the cinema screens in New Zealand and even better watching it a second time at home on the big screen surround sound home theatre system. British film at its best combining a countryside setting with brilliant acting and dialogue. The antics of the two schoolgirls is brilliant and as are all the different aspects of authors retreat, rock drummer and infidelity. Drama. humour and emotion all go to making a great film with a diverse cast.
