VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA IS A BRILLIANT SERIES - GOOD STORY LINES - 32 EPISODES GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY - WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Truth is 1964 was a long time ago and SciFi has come along way. Yes they really did have a model of The Seaview on a stick and wobble it around, bless. On the otherhand you can see where Star Trek, SG1 and so on got their ideas from, so well done to IA for creating something orginal, something lacking with many of today's program makers.

It was fun to see Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea again after so many years. I have a feeling the later episodes may prove even better, series 1 is in Black & White and is heavily cold war orientated with a bit of James Bond thrown in. You can see where the ideas for Star Trek and even Stargate come from.

One of the great science fiction series, plenty of adventures even if the sets were a bit dubious, seems a bit dated by today's computer generated scenes, but still well worth watching.
