This version of TombRaider is prety different than the original ones... it's more a "survivor" game than a pure adventure one. The graphics and animation are excellent, the scenario and the characters are maybe the weakness, but it's not that important. Gameplay excellent.

Bought in the sale and was expecting a half decent game. What I received was an awesome gaming experience. Highly recommended.

While I was never a friend of the older TR games, this one seemed interesting to me, because of frequent comparissions to the Uncharted series. While these comparissions are not unfounded, one should not think that this is a simple clone. The Game manages to stand on its own extremely well and even on the PS3 it looks surprisingly good. The gameplay is easy to learn and I managed to get through the game in one go, without feeling like beeing dragged through tubular level after tubular level. One should note though, that the game is extremely cinematic and players might feel a bit excluded from time to time, though that is a question personal preference.

Maybe you question yourself... "Should I waste precious time playing another Tomb Raider game?" And than your thinking, most probably you've manipulated Lara Croft since 1996 way back on PlayStation 1, why bother controlling another enhanced version of Lara's character? Don't ask just action. And action is all you'll get from playing the latest Tomb Raider game.

This game is so cool. The new Lara is awesome. Exciting and entertaining. Recommended game. I want the sequel. :)

Lara has got a face lift, new gaming mechanincs and Tomb Raider story starts from the beginning. One to try!

Very good game! It's like playing Lost

Son's been 17 years since the first legendary Lara Croft adventure on the Playstation, and in this time we have seen of titles dedicated to the beautiful archaeologist, with more or less erratic. After the discrete Tomb Raider Underworld, Crystal Dynamic fails to bring Lara back to the beauty of the early chapters, with one of the best games of this generation, in all material respects. If at first may seem like a clone of Uncharted, because of the similar mechanical, moving forward with the game Tomb Raider unable to prove their identity by way of a reasoned and gameplay never boring, especially for the gradual growth of the main character who gradually acquire new weapons, tools and physicality that will extend the actions of the beautiful Lara. There will be stages platforming, shooting and exploration phases, the latter will concern the search for treasures, documents, and to desecrate graves, stages that fit extremely well in the course of the game. On a technical level, Tomb Raider excels, offering stunning environments, evocative, with more detailed textures, stunning effects of the elements, especially the flames, with great character models, which place Tomb Raider in the top 10 of this generation with an eye to the next -gen. The fluidity stood at 30 fps almost always constant, some small drop in frame rate does not affect the final result. In conclusion, the new adventure of Crystal Dynamic, succeeds in "redefine" the survival adventures, churning out a title epic, amazing and addictive. Rating: 9
