It's touted as 'the Irish version of The Royle Family' but in my opinion "The Royle Family" was and has never been as funny as Mr. Brown. It is so funny you'll die laughing! The subtle messages Brendon places in the show, I've only ever seen done as successfully as this in the Original Star Trek series. If you've got a relative that enjoys good comedy, that sails a bit close to the wind and some times goes over, this is a perfect gift and you can make a series out of their mistakes in the blooper reel! Fantastic!

Mrs Brown's Boys - Series 1 is hilarious!

This is a hilarious, excellent purchase.

The main disc is as good as it gets. The 2nd disc with all the extras is even funnier in places. Well worth the price. We have told all the family how good it is.

I bought the DVD, knowing from segments I've seen on YouTube that I'd be able to laugh. I got more than that. I was rolling around laughing my ass off.

Mrs Brown's Boys - Series 1 is a very funny series. It had me in stitches they say laughter the best medicine roll on Series 2 in October.

Mrs Brown's Boys is very funny and is full of continuos humour. I will definitely look forward to having the next series.

Buckets of tears - not crying but laughter! Mrs Brown's Boys - Series 1 is underpants changingly funny!! This lot should be inducted into the hall of 'Laugh Out Loud Makers'. I was laughing so much that my friend thought I had a feather tickling me. Great stuff! Brendon O'Connor is brilliant and I am now looking forward to May to get my pre-ordered copy of Series 2. In the meantime, I'll just keep watching this one. Sorry, I dont agree with it being 'The Irish version of The Royle Family' though, it's so much funnier!

Funniest comedy for years. Hilarious comedy centred around Agnes Brown and her family. Must have DVD to enjoy the series again and again.

Someone told me about this and because it was so cheap at Sendit.com I thought what the heck. My ribs are still aching from laughing. I now can't wait for the next series to come out. If you watch this, make sure you have enough tape to bind your ribs.
