Deathsmiles: Deluxe Edition is a nice shoot'em up, fantastic 2D & the price from Zavvi is perfect

It is a Deluxe Edition for a standard price. I love the art direction of this game. It brings me back to the classic shoot 'em up titles from the 90's. In this day and age, CAVE is one of the best in this category. For this price, it was well worth adding into my collection.

Deathsmiles: Deluxe Edition is a really good game. If you like the shooting games, you must have it. It has beautiful graphica, beautiful music and a really great atmosphere.

We Europeans waited and waited, but we finally got it. One of the best modern shmup games, we Europeans also got a cheaper, but better version. Next to the main game you also get a soundtrack disk and a disk with PC desktop accessories. Game itself is amazing which every shmup fan will definitely find enjoyable. For a good price this is one of the best picks.

This game(or rather compilations of different versions of the same game) is an enjoyable arcade romp. Recommended for those who are nostalgic about the old arcade rooms. It's simple with an uncomplicated premise, featuring some great music and outstandings visuals. This version also includes a music CD and a CD with Desktop applications to spice up your presentation. I liked it.

To be honest, I never really played any shoot 'em up game before I got this game. But, when I got this game, I was pleasantly surprised by it. The game has some sort of nice Japanese arcade style feeling. The menus are rather simple, and the graphics are not the best out there (even though they are pretty decent), but that is absolutely no requirement for this game. I might even say it makes the game better. The game is rather short, which isn't bad, since that makes unlocking achievements easier (but there are still some bad-ass achievements in there, don't worry). But, there are also a lot of different modes apart from the Xbox 360 mode. The replay value of this game is high, not only because of the achievements, but the experience changes every time you play this game. The game also comes with the soundtrack (which is really good) and even some desktop accessories. The only negative point I can think of might be the lag that appears from time to time. So, I'd say, if you're looking for a fun, colorful arcade shooter, this is definitely a game for you.

Definitely worth a look if you're a fan of arcade shooters or old school games in general. There are plenty of arranged game modes and lots of extras included in the box. Go buy!

Wow where to start?! I stumbled across this game on a Release Schedule List and the name piqued my interest. So i googled it and found this gorgeous little game! I instantly fell for it! I am a Manga/Anime lover so it really appealed to me! Release day came and i picked up a copy. Then i was floored by how amazing the game is! The whole mechanics of the gameplay is amazing. Your Familiar is an invaluable asset, especially when those Suicide Bullets start flying! Sure the game is very short, but the replay value is enormous! Many different modes to play and various endings, secret bosses etc. I can't stop playing the damn game to be completely honest! I think about it even when i'm NOT playing it! haha EVERY Xbox 360 owner should have this game. It should be the law. Why?.. Simply because this is one of the VERY BEST games to be released on the Xbox 360 thus far! Zavvi have a GREAT price for it too! SO BUY IT NOW! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! :D
