This film has excellent casting and acting and being based on real events increases the emotional impact of the events it portrays. Tension builds throughout the film which is gripping and at times incredibly moving. Filmed in a stunning mountain landscape it deals with a certain period in recent modern history with which perhaps not many people are familiar. It shows how people who consider themselves to be quite ordinary can make extraordinary choices in their lives. The extras on the blu-ray add to the understanding of what had has already been seen. I have no hesitation in recommending everyone to see this film.
