These films offer the best versions of some of Kubrick's finest films including A Clockwork Orange, which had previously been banned in the UK, and 2001, which has to be one of the most referenced Science Fiction films in the history of cinema and still stands up as a masterpiece. The video quality of each film is fantastic and the interviews and special features are interesting, though I haven't managed to watch them all as yet. The only things missing are the 2 films that were available in the US box set; Spartacus and Dr Strangelove.

Now you can watch these films in the best resolution available on the mass market. Films like 2001: A Space Oddessey just immerse the viewer into truly epic cinematography. The films contained in this box set are timeless, and anyone in possession of this set is likely to watch these films time and time again. I recommend this for all fans of quality cinema.

The Stanley Kubrick Collection is good value considering how many classic movies are in this. I have yet to get around to watching them all, but most of them are decent quality Blu-ray releases. These movies are classics, however some are considered controversial, such as one called Lolita which is about an older man falling in love with a 16 year old. So far, that has been the worst movie in this box set. Before buying, it may be best to read what each movie is about to see whether you would enjoy them.
