The Modern Warfare campaign concludes with this third instalment, and it's well executed. Campaign missions are fun and varied, with a lot of settings and characters to mess about with. The game hasn't really changed though, compared to Modern Warfare 2. The multiplayer is what you can expect from past games. It's worth mentioning that Split-Screen Online Multiplayer is a blast playing with a sibling/friend, and the Survival mode is fun. The Strike Packages have varied kill-streaks and styles, and the new gameplay modes (Kill Confirmed and Team Defender) are my favourite multiplayer game modes. As for little let-downs, the game feels the same as past releases, as some guns from Modern Warfare 2 have been taken off (like the FAL), and some glitches/bugs from Black Ops are back and without any fixes. Still, if you played any Call of Duty before, then you know what to expect, and sometimes, the same stuff is good, and sometimes not. If you aren't looking to play deeply into the online multiplayer, then I suggest you get this as a rental, just for the campaign.
I am enjoying a nice game as well as their predecessors ...... worth buying.
An excellent Call Of Duty! However there isn't French language.
This game is really really good, i would recommend it to people who like shooting, first person, and action games. You could play with your friends or with other people around the world and it is just a really fun game to play.
Excellent as good as Battlefield 3 but maybe more addictive missing the vehicles from Battlefield 3 but otherwise all round good game
The community has given what they believe is "realistic score", even when all they want to do is give the game a 0. What happened? Modern Warfare 2 was praised when it was released, Black Ops too. What happened in the time that made people turn on the franchise? Repeating itself? While I dislike the contstant helicopter crashes, they improve and do a different story. Graphics should have no effect on the review unless they look like a 6 year old made them. Modern Warfare 3 does nothing different. It uses a forumla that works. If it didn't work, then why do people keep coming back each November to buy the latest installment? The story takes you on a Modern Day World War, and reveals peices of information that will blow you away. Remember when you thought how strange and outrageous nuking a city in Modern Warfare was? Well, those moments are back in this game, new and old. This game is good. It's great. It has great multiplayer, great new features, and a great new story. People might be getting tired of the war game. But if you don't like playing it, then don't say anything. I guarantee more than half of the reviews on this site and any other review site is someone who played 5 minutes of it, then gave it a low review.
I have never owned a COD game before, which means I won't notice if previous campaigns are too similar. So in my opinion I thought the campaign was excellently fun and in a Hollywood style. But it was ridiculously short. Multiplayer is as good as ever. Menu display is horrible. Special Ops is pretty fun.
great graphics, good game to play with friends online and ofline, action packed with lots of enemies to battle and a large varietys of weapons to choose from.
