The DVD box holds all 4 DVDs, which contain all of the episodes. The sound when watched on a laptop with headphones is good (not great because I don't use high end headphones). Picture quality is crisp and no unintended visual effects. I highly recommend anyone to buy this series, even if you're not into kendo or martial arts. It's great fun and I'm sure you'll get to love the characters.
This show follows the exploits of first year high school student Tamaki Kawazoe and the members of the after school Kendo club she joins. In my opinion this show starts out REALLY slow, there were times when I wanted to stop watching but around the tenth episode things start to pick up and it becomes very interesting and entertaining as "the plot thickens." The story begins to drop around episode 18 but only briefly before a return to form and standard Animé ending. Visuals are nice and colourful and the audio comes across well but there are times where the volume needs to cranked up or what's being said becomes incomprehensible. Basically if you can get through the first half you'll be pleasantly surprised, if not you're missing out on a pretty fun show.
