I recently purchased F1 2011 for the PC (March 2012) and I must say its a superb game. The online purchase experience using Zavvi was excellent, within the promised few days the package arrived. No fuss, no hassles. I confess that the last time I had an F1 driving simulation game was a good 6+ years ago so I was keen to see how a modern game would fair. The result is every bit as good as I had thought - the graphics are polished and the realism immense. You have multiple modes of play and can for the real F1 fans customize just about every aspect of the car's setup. If you however, are like me, just want to have a bit of driving fun without all the technicalities of setting up a car there's a quick-race setup option. Multiple game modes are offered (but be warned, this game really requires a Game For Windows Live account) which is used to allow for online gaming as well as saving your profile details. I've not had a chance to try all the game modes - but I have tried Grand Prix mode. Here you can select a car and driver, (say for example: McLarren - J.Button) and then select any number of tracks to race and finally how many laps to race (1,2,3,10%,20%,100%). You can play anywhere from novice to pro - and enable/disable assists. In all its a great game and its certain that it will take a long time to master.
