It's great to own such a comedy gem on DVD and it's certainly not lost it's charm since originally airing. Would make an excellent gift for someone but I'm keeping this one for myself. Also An amazingly quick delivery from Zavvi during the busy Christmas period!

I hadn't seen this comedy show since it was originally broadcast in the 1970's so was a little skeptical on how well the series had aged. I needn't have worried for it still is as funny as I remembered it all those years ago. A classic comedy although some may find it politically incorrect..

Love thy neighbour great series from the 70s I use zavvi all the time for my dvds never been disapointed with any item I've sent for. And that says a lot always arrive on time emailed letting me know about item when it's due exetra so keep up the good work zavvi I will keep buying as long as your keeping the prices down at your end . Mr Alan deary a very satisfied zavvi purcheser.

As funny now as it was in 1974 hugely non pic I was holding my sides laughing Very good product and service from Zaavi I would certainly use them again

I remember watching Love Thy Neighbour when it was aired in the 70's and found it very funny then and I still do today. I can't avoid asking the question of "how did they get away with it" it certainly wouldn't be politically correct in today's climate.

cant beat old comedies, takes you down memory lane when you were a kid and use to watch them on tv, definitely recommend zavvi if your searching for a dvd boxset or cheap blu rays to build your collection up

Good price and perfect nostalgia.

I bought this as a gift for my sister, but i used to watch it when i was younger and remember it being funny back then, im sure she will love it as it is a classic.

Brought back so many good memories still as good second time round as it was the first time.

Absolute classic old school comedy. If you can look past the racist names (sometimes a little uncomfortable in today's climate of political correctness) it is very obvious that Eddie (the white neighbour) is the complete idiot and the loser in the battles between the neighbours. For those who like Patrick in Eastenders it is great to see him in such a great comedic role. You will find yourself laughing whilst cringing at the name calling and racism that was so apparent in those days.
