Idris Elba plays John Luther to perfection - clever, caring, troubled and not afraid of bending the rules, Luther is a cop with a difference. After the murder of someone very close to him, he returns to work in a new unit 'Serious and Serial Crimes'. What follows is dark & somewhat disturbing, but if you like good crime series, this is DEFINITELY one to put on your 'Want List'. Written by the brilliant Neil Cross - Luther is a character I hope to see more of in a third series.
