The gradual build to the family gets funnier as it goes on. A typical Irish family.

This program is absolutely hilarious! The layout of the whole show feels very inclusive, like they could be living up the street. They're just like an every-day family that are so so funny. You have got to see it.

If you look at this from a simple point of view, it's Father Jack, sober, and in a skirt. I love the sense of humour this whole program brings with it! I highly recommend you buy it.

Not like the BBC series, this set goes back to the beginning of Mrs. Brown, and gives the stories of her family life leading up to what we see on the BBC series. There are different actors in some of the roles which is a bit confusing to start with, but overall if you like Mrs. Brown you will persevere and like these too.

Never laughed so much for along long time. Mrs Brown's Boys is very addictive, you will need to set a side a good couple of hours to watch.

Old-fashioned humour, perhaps, but eminently watchable. The live shows are littered with mistakes and references to the studio audience which only add to the enjoyment. Be prepared for a liberal dose of swear-words! Good adult fun, in the true sense.

Having first encounter Mrs Brown and her family on BBC TV recently, I found out that she has been around for some time and has quite a following. Watched the first THREE discs in one night and only stopped because we were hurting from laughing so much. The best way to describe this would be Father Ted meets Bless This House. FATHER TED WITH CURLERS IN! I am now a committed fan, going to see live Stage Show soon and cant wait for TV series 2 and Xmas Special.
