Sonic Generations is a fantastic treat for those who have grown up with the blue hedgehog, from his glory days in the Megadrive era, through to his jump to 3D on modern consoles. This game a love-letter to all previous Sonic titles, allowing you to play through stages which have been re-created in excellent high definition, while still having that same feel and easy playability. There is plenty to see and do, as well as a wealth of unlockables - fully recommended to those with anything more than just a slight interest in the character and his games.

A very good game

Sonic Generations is on a par with Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast for playability and is probably the best Sonic game ever in my opinion, well done Sega!

The graphics are really good. They make it a fun game to play. Sometimes it can be quite hard to keep up with the speed of the game, but it is nice to play if you want a change from the more difficult action games out there.

Great game; Pros: Character battles are cool Missions add replay value Remix of Toxic Caves is boss Good Grafix Cons: Lack of level variety Classic Sonic is bad Emulated Sonic 1 is bad... really bad. Pointless cameo characters are pointless... like Vector. Overall, good game compared to Sonic '06.

I recently aquired Sonic Generations, and all i can say is: finally a good Sonic game! For all Sonic fans, you were wishing that Sonic would go back to its roots, well here you go. With Sonic Generations you can play as the old Sonic or as the new Sonic. As the old Sonic you will play in a 2D envirement like the first Sonic games, with remakes of classic levels. With the new Sonic you will play the same levels in a 3D perspective. It has the best of both worlds, and is a definite must buy for all Sonic fans, and to everyone that loves a good platform game.

Sonic Generations is superb, an all-star Sonic the hedghog extravaganza. All levels completely remade in both 2D & 3D with stunning HD visuals & 3D-TV support. A bus load of extras are also unlockable in the form of 60 extra missions (all new levels), from Tails the Fox flying Sonic over obstacles to Knuckles helping out by digging for treasure. Not to mention rival battles with Silver & Metal Sonic, to boss battles with Dr Eggman, Perfect Chaos, and the Time Eater. If you're a fan of Sonic from whatever generation, then there is something there for everyone so no room for dissapointment! This game was made to celebrate 20 years of Sonic and it does it with style and spectacle in abundance! Sonic Generations is a classic stylish platformer with bags of personality and fantastic re-play value. It's the Sonic game I have been waiting for for over 10 years! I'm 38 and I love it, my son is 3 and he loves it, my daughter is 8 and she loves it, my partner is 29 and she loves it! Could not recommend it more!

Brought Sonic Generations for my two grandson's to play when they came to visit recently and they loved it. Kept them entertained for a while as the weather was awful.

Since the days of the Megadrive, the true Sonic has been lost for me but for the 20th anniversary, Sega has achieved a super rebirth in Sonic Generations! Enjoy the classic levels with two-player game play and excellent HD qauality. It's a real pleasure for your eyes! A must! With Japanese, French and English audio!

I was 9 when I first met Sonic on Genesis, and I loved the first three episode, beat them many times. Now i'm 27 and that game brings the same atmosphere like the first episodes. Hilarious speed, colorful stages with many paths, awesome music ( the shiver runs on my back when I hear the chemical plant tune ). Many thanks Sonic team!
