Stories of a more innocent age, when good always triumphed and the bad boys got their just desserts. That age never existed, but I would like to think that it did. The sun nearly always shone over Lovejoy and Tinker and the various ladies who came in and out of Lovejoy's romantic life. In amongst all the unlikely tales, however, is always a good and accurate lesson in the recognising, buying and selling of antiques. An afternoon in the company of Lovejoy and his colleagues, friends - and enemies - is always a joy as well as an education.

An all round, good, timeless entertainment; no f’ing no blinding, some gentle implied romance. A finely portraid view of a rogueish guy in a, arguably, better period.

Really quick delivery, I haven't watched them yet as they are a pressie for my hubby
