Hitman Absolution

Hitman: Absolution is an excellent game. It's graphically stunning, smooth and has fluid controls. It's the best Hitman game yet.

Absolution

I must admit to being a bit dubious about Hitman Absolution as I didn't get on with Hitman Blood Money at all. I'm glad I purchased it though as it's 10 times better. You can be as stealthy as you want or go in all guns blazing, also finding the "accidents" is quite rewarding when you set the traps and watch it unfold. Overall this is a hit.

Hitman or HitMiss?

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

The Hitman series has evolved a lot since the early versions, and it is for the better. The graphics in Hitman: Absolution have been improved and polished, but you still get the odd clipping issue (mainly when dragging bodies around). The multitude of ways in which you can carry out a hit is really enjoyable, and does extend the longevity of the game through replays. One of the only minor negatives I can find is that the game feels short in comparison to other AAA titles out there. This may be a plus to some, but I can't help but feel that the story could've had a bit more depth to it. Overall, it is an enjoyable romp through the world of agent 47 and is a worthy purchase.

Great game but not quite as good as Contracts was. The story seems to have taken over and there are fewer actual assassination missions with many of the missions it seems almost as if the target is an afterthought. It also seemed to me as though there were fewer options available in how you accomplish each mission (although as I have only played it through twice I may have missed some). The simplest approach of just killing everyone in the vicinity also seems to be the easiest at least on the first 2 levels ( I am hoping this will change as I get to the harder difficulty levels) . But all in all a very enjoyable game - I wish there were more like this.
