Darksiders 2: Limited Edition has a lot of variety compared to the first title of the series. It is good and the RPG elements are decent fun. It also has a superb musical score.

Darksiders 2: Limited Edition (Pre-Order Argul's Tomb DLC) is fun, big and dark. It does not matter if you did not play the first one because this has its own story.

Darksiders 2: Limited Edition has a lot of different, interesting characters. The game was filled with dialogues and collateral tasks. I liked the atmosphere, plot and music but there's room for improvement with the graphics.

Darksiders 2 has the same action soul, but with a lot of RPG and exploring elements. Lots of people love it, but in my opinion the new stuff slows the game down too much and makes the game a little boring. If you like something more than just the pure hack and slash, then this is a great game.

I couldn't wait to get Darksiders 2 as I had played Darksiders and it was great. Darksiders 2 is everything and more I expected it to be. It has a great story, stunning graphics, lots of bosses and amazing weaponry. The puzzles are devilish and the game seems to go on forever. You can travel between different maps and collect the hidden treasures as your powers and upgrades increase. There are also side missions as well as main objectives. I would highly recommend this game and give it 5 stars.

It's a fantastic game!

First of all, I was a great fan of the first Darksiders game, so the choice was swiftly made to purchase the second game. The graphics are excellent, but at some points they have to load a bit to become sharper. (just a few seconds) When the game is starting up, the story as far is being told by a narrotor which is entertaining instead of just a loading screen. Loading between 2 maps goes very fast. The storyline is good and follows fluently the events of the first game. Althought I recommend to play the first game, so you have the full experience of the storyline. Gameplay itself is hack-and-slash. The button-combinations are optimal to perform smooth combo's, but the best aspect is the huge range of weapons and upgrades. You can customize your character's clothes, weapons and abilities. Last but not least is the beautiful map. It's a huge world you can freely explore. You encounter various enemies and stumble upon secret locations. The verdict: If you are a huge fan of hack' n slash games then this is a must buy. The action and the story line are the perfect combination to give you hours of quality gaming.
