I have never played a metal gear game before on NES, PSOne, PS2 or Gamecube and I always heard great things about the metal gear series and for a long time I wanted to start from the beginning. I already owned MGS 1 and 4 and the graphics of MGS 1 was a huge drawback to start this amazing series but eventually after finishing MGS 4 I looked back and what a great decision I made by playing these games, especially if you dive in to the so deep story even more by reading and watching fan videos. Playing MGS 2 is a little bit difficult now because of the controls and camera angle. Playing stealthy in MGS 3 is even more difficult but not because of the controls and camera but because there is no map pointing the enemies. So the game feels very rewarding when you finish a part without spotted by the enemies. MGS Peace Walker is nice PSP port.

One of the BEST hd collection for ps3 with 3 incredible games in one disc!!!!!! A must for every Metal Gear Saga fan and for who wants to live a fantastic trilogy of all time!!!!!!

A must Own! MGS2 Sons of Liberty - MGS3 Snake Eater - MGS Peace Walker. Good memories on PS2 and PSP, and now on PS3 in HD way too cool.

Each and every Metal Gear Solid game was a masterpiece. The story, characters, humour, environment it was all so captivating that you would want to play more. You really do feel drawn into the game and what is going on and do get your emotions tugged at during certain portions of the game. If there are some series that deserves to be fully remade this is probably one of them.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection allows players who are not familiar with the MGS series to really enjoy these great games.

MGS3 is a pure epic milestone in the MGS saga, and this version is purely the best version of the game. If you played it on PS2, play it again on the PS3, you'll be stunned by the games quality, and the maximum professionalism of this title, which is still a superb gaming experience.
