Mario Kart 7 is nothing new to the formulae to the Mario Kart franchise, but it is something new to arcade racers and online racing at that. The modes are the usual concept, Grand Prix, time trials etc. but what makes MK7 truly stand out is its online multiplayer, with brilliant non stop matches, various options to experience and a great friend system which lets any player join his/her friend in the action anytime! MK7 is a must buy for 3DS owners, and racing fans. If you don't have a 3DS... now you should!

Mario Kart 7 has loads of tracks, new and old, and loads of racers. Multiplayer is great too. A must buy if you have a 3DS and it's possibly worth buying a 3DS for.

Always been a fan of Mario Kart, but Mario Kart 7 is the game that tops the lot. A huge number of courses both new and old, handles like a dream and the online communities are a fantastic idea. 3D and graphics are very engaging, a must buy!

Really, it's Mario Kart. If you didn't much care for it before you probably still won't. For anyone else it's a fine way to play Mario Kart on the go. The new tracks are pretty good and it has a fantastic selection of tracks from older games. The new items are decent enough though it's a shame that the trap boxes no longer exist. The online is really smooth and the addition of communities makes it easier to play with just the people you want. The game looks great and the 3D is really nice, not too distracting and rather clean. Mario kart 7 is a must have for fans of Mario Kart and an excellent place to start for people who have never played it before.
