In Darksiders 2 (Wii U), you play as death, as one of the 4 horsemen in this game. It's all about puzzles, fighting big bosses and completing tests for level progress. It reminds me a lot of Prince of Persia on the game cube, with a dash of Zelda. This game has a great story, and plays really well with a huge area to explore.

Darksiders 2 (Wii U) is the first Darksiders game I have bought. I do own an XBOX 360 as well, but decided to go for the WiiU version as it has all of the DLC (downloadable content) for no extra cost. I always research games before I buy them, so I knew that this game would be right up my street. It's kind of Tomb Raider meets Warhammer 40K, so you get exploration and climbing as well as epic fights with massive bosses. It also has RPG elements thrown in so you can develop your character. The graphics are dark and gothic, with a touch of cartoon about them. They look nice. As this version is a port of the others, it hasn't been optimised for the WiiU, so there is screen tear on certain sections of the game, but it doesn't detract from the overall experience. Apparently, the textures in the WiiU are the best though, so it's swings and roundabouts.

Well, if you read all the reviews for this game, they all say it's great and it doesn't disappoint. Yes it might not perform quite as well on the WiiU as it does on the XBOX 360 and PS3 but there really isn't that much in it and that's only because it was quickly ported to the WiiU without maximising it to take advantage of the WiiU's greatly better RAM and Graphics handling. The other versions don't get all the DLC for free either which makes this a no brainer if you haven't already bought it for one of the other consoles. Get it for the WiiU. Awesome

Darksiders 2 is a great purchase. I'm enjoying the game much more than I thought I would as I haven't played the first game. Right from the start you get great action and story telling, as you play as one of the four horsemen seeking his brother's innocence. With upgradable armour and side quests, there's lots of hours of game play.

What a shame that there probably won't be any more in the series of this game. It's great! The graphics for the Wii-U are good and the sound is used to good effect, letting you use your pad when death talks.

Excellent. Yeah, better than PS3 or 360 Version!.
