This is an awesome boxset with a good mix of classics and modern gangster movies. It sits nicely on the shelf next to the Coppola restorations of the Godfather, showing how Al Pacino can breath life into a number of unique gangster characters. American Gangster fairs worst in picture quality, but is still a very watchable, great movie, despite the dodgy ending to the extended version - jump straight to the last scene of the theatrical version to see how it should have ended. Other movies look pin sharp, and deserve repeat viewings.

This is a great box set. Five great or very good movies, three of them legendary and tons of extras for this prize? All movies include very good or great stories and top acting. If you like gangster movies this is a box set to have.

Five top-notch gangster flicks in one single, cheap-ish box set. Great value for money and an essential box set for every movie lover's collection. Picture and sound quality of these Blu-ray's is as good as you would expect. Extras are ok, nothing spectacular but worth a watch. All in all, you should buy this. Like, now. Only thing missing is Goodfellas but even without it this box set is really the ultimate gangster collection.
