I'm a big gaming nerd - my girlfriend isn't. So like someone out of MENSA I was like "Hey, why not try and combine the two? That way, I can play games with her and it counts as quality time!". The first game we played together was Little Big Planet 2 - a must for couples as it's hard for her 'not-very-good-at-games-ness" to hold me back from completing the game and she loves the prize bubbles and hidden bits and pieces. After completing that, we were looking for another game with a similar team based multiplayer where dying didn't matter too much, and one of our friends suggested Rayman. Great graphics, fun, tricky at times and lots of re-playability in levels were all pluses, but the gameplay and multiplayer system were exactly what we were looking for. If you're looking to seal the deal with a special someone, get Rayman and tell them to come around and just you see where it goes... and then when they're asleep after the sex you can go back and redo the levels properly with no problems.

What can I say about Rayman Origins...I am a great fan of Rayman, have been ever since I was a child, and this game is a treat for all you Rayman fans out there. It's ideal even for those who don't know Rayman and want to discover it for the first time, and what a way to do it. Best platform game I've played in a long time, it looks super with all the hand made drawn graphics, and the excellent soundtrack sent me back to years ago...a very inoccent game that can make you feel like a child again, but still enjoy it as an adult. The co-op is an extra bonus, and I highly recommend this game - really great piece from Ubisoft.

Rayman Origins is the best next generation platformer so far. Stunning graphics, great controls and fun to play. Try this with your friends, this is very good game but not the easiest (not suitable for young children)!
