To be honest, I just bought Red Dead Redemption because of the price. I'd read alot about it but couldn't imagine how a western GTA-style game would work. But now I can!!! This game catches you from the beginning and it won't let you go for a very long time. I don't even want to write too much about it, in case I spoil it - I can only highly recommend it! An awesome story, awesome soundtrack, awesome gameplay, awesome characters, awesome game! Do not miss this one!

Since getting this a 10 days ago I have been playing it almost non-stop. A great game with a very engaging story and lots of different things to do. If you feel like being a cowboy and all that entails for a while, this is the game for you. I have even spent hours just cleaning out the tables in games of poker or starting fist fights in bars with the local drunks! The many cut scenes are well done and the story is engaging. Be warned though. If you get into this game you will spend hundreds of hours playing through all the different aspects, and that isn't even including the undead nightmare content, which is a whole different adventure.

The game itself has quite nice visuals, and resembles GTA a lot. I'd say that this game can be really rewarding from players who enjoy GTA, and would like to take it to wild west.

Red Dead Redemption Game Of The Year Edition is another excellent game produced by Rockstar. This game does not fail to live up to the hype and its intense reputation. The game play is challenging but at a level that still makes the game fun and enjoyable. Think Grand Theft Auto meets Walker Texas Ranger. Good storyline, great graphics and excellent game play. I would recommend this game to players that have enjoyed the GTA series as this is definitely a trademark Rockstar game, and definitely one of its best ones.

It is very interesting story , like a movie to enjoy it you must play it in focus very similar to uncharted .

At a first glance , red dead redemption looked slightly corny and like many other games out at the time. After browsing through the web , many reviews glorified it. I have to say , when I bought it , I was thoroughly impressed. I personally love games where you can travel around and do as you please e.g Fallout , Skyrim - and this game fit that category perfectly. Upgrading your character with guns , mounts and outfits , as well as completing challenges makes for a great game. You can also choose whether you want to be a hero , or a convict ( all you fable lovers). Overall a wonderful game with great game play , graphics , and story which will leave you glued to your Playstation.

One of the best Sandbox games that I have ever played, the story line is rich and itense, and it has Zombies as an alternative gameplay, Surelly one of the best games to buy, and at the price given it's a bargain.

Red Dead Redemption is a very complete game in the style of gta, but here follows the adventures of the old west. With a good multiplayer and The Undead Nightmare DLC will keep you playing it for long.

Red Dead Redemption may not only be one of the best open-world games to date, but also showcases that Rockstar can nail both the co-op and multiplayer experience and wrap it into a relevant package. Even if you've played the original release of Red Dead Redemption but have not bought any of the downloadable content, then this Game of the Year release still represents incredible value, and for those who've not experienced Red Dead Redemption at all, believe us, this is the one to add your collection.
