My four year old enjoys this game. I hate it. Starting it is a nightmare which takes ages. It shows several logo videos which can't be skipped, then I need to select the profile and storage device, then I get a long introduction by Dora. This happens EVERY TIME! The selection happens using the Kinect sensor and hand control, which means that control gets snatched from me by the kids, making it pretty hard to get anywhere. Then comes the hand control selection of the play mode and songs. That's done again using the Kinect, and is not only fiddly to use but suffers from the usual kid interference. Now, it's not really that bad. It's possible to get past these hurdles with only a little trouble, but doing it over and over really gets on my nerves. I assume that if my kids could do everything themselves I would have enjoyed it more. The game itself is fun. It's a simple dance game, very lenient, and that's good because my daughter can get stars without being very accurate in her moves. In fact even if you do nothing you still get one star. I also enjoyed playing its exercise mode myself, so it apparently has something for all ages (as long as you don't mind the Nickelodeon characters). So all in all, I think it's a good game. I'm giving it a good grade because my daughter asks for it occasionally and enjoys playing it. I just dearly wish I could control it with the controller instead of the Kinect and that I could skip all the videos.
