This movie is my all time favourite Christmas movie. There are many versions but this one is by far the best, really atmospheric and gets you into the spirit. I now have 3 versions, bought my 1st from USA years ago when not available in the UK, than region 2 dvd, now I have Blu ray version. The picture from latest version of dvd is almost identical to this Blu ray version, the only benefit is rather than standard Dolby Digital 5.1, the Blu ray version is upgraded to Dolby HD sound. Which is a great improvement. Overall its definitely worth having at this low price , even for the enhanced surround sound. Buy today and get in the spirit!

Scrooge is the essential film to watch over Christmas. This Blu-Ray version is so crisp and clear compared to the DVD version, which is as it should be. Often with these old movies that have been put onto DVD, there is usually a lot of grain in the picture and not much else that different. This one though is superb picture quality with great sound and without the grain. This is superb quality and the best Christmas movie ever!
